Abstract

The Yemeni conflict is an internal conflict involving the official Yemeni government and the Houthi rebels which continues to spread. This conflict quickly made Yemen a country with the worst humanitarian crisis which had a negative impact on all aspects, one of the aspects affected was the education sector. Since this conflict began, it has greatly affected the education system and access to learning opportunities for children in Yemen. UNICEF as an international organization is tasked with helping children come to Yemen where the country is in conflict so that many Yemeni children are victims and experience problems in rights violations, especially in the field of education. UNICEF is working to restore Yemeni children's unfulfilled rights to a decent education. This research describes UNICEF's role in providing access to education for children affected by conflict through international organization theory and humanitarian assistance.
