Focus and Scope

Sriwijaya Journal of International Relations (SJIR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sriwijaya.

The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of original research, theoretical contributions, and critical reflections in the field of international relations. It welcomes scholarly works from both early-career and established researchers whose work engages with contemporary and classical issues across a wide range of subfields in international studies.

SJIR particularly focuses on the following themes:
