IMPLEMENTASI PERAN SEAMEO RECFON UNTUK MENANGANI ISU GIZI YANG TERJADI DI INDONESIA PADA TAHUN 2017-2021

Abstract

Indonesia is a country currently facing nutrition issues. The unresolved nutrition issues have prompted international organizations to intervene and assist in resolving the problem. SEAMEO RECFON is an international organization in Southeast Asia located in Indonesia. SEAMEO RECFON also contributes to assisting Indonesia so that the nutrition issues affecting the country can be effectively addressed. This study employs the theory of international organization roles as articulated by Kelly Kate S. Pease, which highlights the role of SEAMEO RECFON as a capacity builder. Using this theory, the study aims to provide a description of the implementation of SEAMEO RECFON's role as a capacity builder through three given aspects. These aspects include motivation, knowledge, and skills. SEAMEO RECFON embodies these aspects through two programs, namely "Nutrition Goes to School" and "Early Childhood Care and Nutrition Education".
