INDONESIA’S INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION EFFORT TO MAINTAINING FOOD SECURITY DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Food is a crucial thing that underlies the needs of every human being. Each state has an ambition to prioritize food security by ensuring food availability for the whole community. However, during the Covid-19 outbreak, states were struggling to maintain food security and avoid food insecurity. The Covid-19 pandemic has had impacts on food security due to supply chain disruption and the decline in people's purchasing power because of the economic downturn. To overcome this, the Indonesian government has determined various strategies, one of which is establishing international cooperation with other countries. Due to only few articles discuss the cooperation that Indonesia has established to fulfill and maintain the food security during the pandemic. Furthermore, this article will use qualitative methods with analyzing occurring and secondary data to analyze the Indonesian government's efforts to maintain food security stability.
