About the Journal

Sriwijaya Journal of International Relations (SJIR) — ISSN 2963-6108 (print) | ISSN 2963-4865 (online) — is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal managed and published by the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Sriwijaya. SJIR serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research, theoretical explorations, and critical reflections in the field of international relations and global studies. The journal primarily welcomes articles addressing diverse themes such as foreign policy and diplomacy, security issues, conflict resolution, global political economy, regionalism, global governance, and global civil society. Particular emphasis is placed on research that explores Indonesia’s role and position in regional and global affairs, with the aim of advancing inclusive, empirical, and critical perspectives.
